  Both my kids had bad experiences in the WAVE program of this school. Some teachers cared more about strong-arming/tearing down the kids who needed a little more help than others. I would have rather left them at our assigned school and just take advanced classes. For the record, there are a couple of amazing teachers here.

  As a GT student I can confirm that the separation is terrible. LCI (non-GT) tend to be more athletic and some tend to bully GT in Phys. Ed. And the tiles are really bad, and the assistant principal seems to be a tad strict. Another thing I notice is how hard GT Social Studies is in 7th grade... That's the one class I have a low grade in right now.

  i don't like it, it does not teach the true power of the unicorns and even goes as far to say they're not real. But in all seriousness its an okay school though the separation of the wave from the normal PE class was bad with only half the PE time. The ID system is pretty bad to you get lunch detention for not having your badge even though no other school does this and it's all together just a way for the school to make more money.
